Thank you for your interest in partnering with us to host the 10th Congress of Baltic Librarians (CoBaL10) that will be held in Riga, National Library of Latvia on 12-13 October 2015.
The Congress of Baltic Librarians takes place once in four years and brings together library directors, librarians and library stakeholders from all three Baltic States. The anniversary CoBaL10, which is organized by the Latvian Librarians Association (LLA) in collaboration with the National Library of Latvia (NLL) and other supporters in Latvia and other Baltic States, will bring together more than 100 library professionals, partners and stakeholders from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Finland and Ukraine.
The CoBaL10 will be a platform to discuss the changing role of libraries in a wider context of societal changes responding to the social trends identified in the IFLA Trend Report. The Congress will seek to share experiences and best practices of libraries in formal and informal education, information and media literacy, reading promotion, skills development, innovative use of technology and other areas.
The anniversary CoBaL10 in Riga will be a unique event! On the second day (13 October) more than 200 library professionals from Latvia will join for the 17th Conference of Latvian librarians (LatBib17) to share their achievements at the Marketplace of Ideas, interactive sessions and networking events.
Join us in October for two days of presentations, interactive sessions and networking events and take a chance to connect with Baltic library professionals in Riga!
All partner packages include:
- The logo of your company/organization will be placed in the CoBaL10 and LatBib17 program folders.
- The logo and information together with a hyperlink to the website of your company/organization will be placed in the “Partners” section of the CoBaL10 and LatBib17 web page.
- Placement of your advertising material at the registration desk during check in and/or in participants bag. Materials have to be sent to LLA office before the event.
- Placement of your banner in registration area and/or presentation area and/or exhibition area. The partner shall organize delivery of the banners to the conference venue.
Exhibition package: participation fee 150 EUR
- You will get access to the CoBaL10 sessions (12 October 2015), social event (12 October 2015), and Marketplace of Ideas and interactive parallel sessions (13 October 2015) for one representative of your company/organization.
- You will get an exhibition space at the “Library partners” booth at the Marketplace of Ideas (13 October 2015, 09.00–13.00) where you can display materials and information about your product and/or service.
Presentation/Demonstration package: participation fee 350 EUR
- You will get access to the CoBaL10 sessions (12 October 2015), reception (12 October 2015), and Marketplace of Ideas and interactive parallel sessions (13 October 2015) for two representatives of your company/organization.
- You will get an exhibition space at the “Library partners” booth at the Marketplace of Ideas (13 October 2015, 09.00–13.00) where you can display materials and information about your product or service.
- You will get an equipped room during interactive parallel sessions (13 October 2015, CoBaL10 12.00–13.00 and/or LatBib17 14.00–16.00) where you can organize a presentation/demonstration of your product or service and/or an interactive activity or discussion for/with conference participants.
All partners are encouraged to bring in ideas or wishes during the preparation of the conference!
